  • Waitlist Information: We collect your email address, country, and name to provide updates on our global launch.

  • Health Data (Beta/Live Phase): With explicit consent, we sync vitals (heart rate, sleep, activity) and fall alerts from paired smartwatches or rings.

  • Emergency Contacts: We store the names and contact details of your nominated local responders to facilitate our "Automated Emergency Triage".

How We Use Your Data

Third-Party Sharing

  • Emergency Services: We only share location and vital data with professional emergency responders or your nominated contacts when a critical alert is triggered and you are unreachable.

  • Analytics and Advertising: To optimize our "Smoke Test" and reach more families in need, we use third-party email, analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) and advertising platforms (e.g., Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag). These tools collect anonymized usage data and device identifiers to help us understand how users interact with our landing page and to measure the effectiveness of our global outreach.

  • No Medical Data for Ads: Apta will never share your parents' heart rate, fall alerts, or any clinical medical records with advertising platforms for marketing purposes.

  • No Data Selling: Apta will never sell your or your parents' health data to insurance companies or third-party advertisers.

  • Communication: To provide you with updates on our global launch, early-access offers, and promotions.

  • Real-Time Monitoring: To provide a "Real-Time Vitals Bridge" between India and your current location.

  • Emergency Escalation: To trigger "Scream Alerts" on your phone and notify local responders during a detected crisis.

  • Service Improvements: To optimize cross-border data syncing and minimize "alert fatigue".

Data Storage and Residency

  • Sovereign Hosting: In compliance with the DPDP Act, all sensitive health records and personal data of Indian residents stay encrypted in secure Indian vaults and never leave the country.

  • Encryption: All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using end-to-end industry-standard protocols.

Your Rights and Control

  • Right to Erasure: You may request the deletion of your account and all associated family data at any time.

  • Consent Management: You have absolute control over which vitals are shared and who is notified during an emergency.

  • Withdrawal: Joining the waitlist is voluntary, and you can unsubscribe from communications at any time.
